We were set with the task of targeting specific pages on this tasty looking website. A brief background of IamEmily, Emily is a designer that focuses on bringing brands to life. Whilst her team are incredible at what they do, they needed help with displaying the website on the first page of search engines – and right on them, too! They also know the secret sauce of increasing revenue is through a strong online presence. Our on-page SEO techniques skyrocketed this domain from a completely unranked position to the top page of Google within the week. The purpose of this SEO campaign was to significantly increase the amount of targeted traffic to a landing page through increasing rankings in search engines such as Google. The in-depth tweaks for the site consisted of ensuring that we have access to Google Analytics to watch and monitor the changes that are made to the website over time. This allowed our team to check efforts on a weekly basis to ensure the results are at a steady increase. Once we established the set up of Google Analytics, we will then focus on the data that is shown via Search Console, formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools. Here we could see the exact impressions of each search term and, therefore, understand what our target audience is searching on Google and where we ranked in relation to these terms. If we found that we hadn’t targeted specific keywords, but had a strong presence on the search engine for that term, we could adapt our strategy to ensure we capture this search traffic.

  • We used correct META descriptions for the targeted keywords.
  • We implemented an internal link structure to spread authority across the site.
  • We submitted sitemaps and robot.txt files to the relevant sites.
  • We ensured that adequate content was placed on each page.
  • The team then participated in a cheeky fist bump when we saw the ranking positions.

PROVEN RESULTS.

Now that IamEmily is part of the first-page club, we’ve noted the results and have seen that there has been a significant increase in various areas.
